Oatmeal Raisin Cookies(recipe from the Quaker Oats container) 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat together margarine or butter and brown and granulated sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire racks. |
